Waterloo RAGBRAI Looking to Promote Local Businesses WATERLOO, IOWA (May 28, 2010) - Waterloo RAGBRAI would like to promote local businesses that offer special discounts to customers wearing their Waterloo RAGBRAI t-shirt every Thursday through July 29. The discount is the choice of the business and will be advertised on the Waterloo RAGBRAI website as well as at the Waterloo Convention & Visitors Bureau and Waterloo Main Street, where t-shirts are being sold. There is no cost to participate. Businesses will be provided with a poster advertising their participation in Waterloo RAGBRAI Thursday Discount Days. A complete list of discounts is available on www.WaterlooRAGBRAI.com and is updated weekly. Businesses are encouraged to generate business and show community support while building excitement for this historic event!
