Waterloo RAGBRAI Announces Main Campground/Downtown Entertainment Lineup

WATERLOO, IOWA (June 25, 2010) - Waterloo RAGBRAI will have three acts at the main campground stage located next to Lost Island Waterpark on Thursday, July 29.  Arch Allies will take the stage from 5:00 – 7:00 PM.  Arch Allies is the creme de la creme of Journey tribute bands. Actually, they don't just pay homage to Journey; they also are amazing with Styx and REO Speedwagon.  The five members of Arch Allies strive to make their performances well rounded.  Their sound, stage presence and even their wardrobe is authentic.

Waterloo RAGBRAI headliner, The Fab Four, will perform from 8 PM – 9:30 PM.  The Fab Four is elevated far above every other Beatles Tribute due to their precise attention to detail. With uncanny, note-for-note live renditions of Beatles' songs, the Fab Four will make you think you're watching the real thing.  Hear record-perfect live performances of such classics as "Can't Buy Me Love," "Yesterday," "A Day In The Life," "Penny Lane," "Here Comes The Sun,” and "Hey Jude."

Kiss Mania will bring the 1977-1978 Love Gun Era to the main campground stage from 10 PM – Midnight.  Authentic costumes, make-up and stage set will complete the original line-up for that time. In re-creating the essence of what makes the original Kiss great, you still get a replica of the hottest rock show in the world. They bring the bombastic arena sized Kiss show to the small stage; which includes a flashing 4X8 Kiss sign, Ace’s smoking guitar, Gene’s fire breathing and blood spitting, and a set list that spans the entire Kiss catalog. Each member emulates their character to the last detail from authentic instruments, make-up, costumes, and stage presence, proving once again that you can rock-n-roll all night and party every day.

Admission to all main campground concerts are free to those wearing their RAGBRAI wristband or Waterloo RAGBRAI t-shirt.  Those not wearing a shirt or a wristband will pay $2 at the beverage garden the day of the event.  Tickets will not be sold in advance.

Downtown entertainment will be held in Lincoln Park and feature local favorites.  The Dennis Wayne Gang will give RAGBRAI riders country music with a kick and some rock to boot from 11 AM – 2 PM.  Never the Less is sure to please all music lovers from 3 PM – 6 PM with a mixture of music genres.  All downtown entertainment is free and open to the public.
