The RiverLoop Amphitheatre is an impressive new Riverfront Renaissance venue located on the Cedar River and adjacent to the Waterloo Center for the Arts. This outdoor facility is utilized for performances and concerts, films, celebrations and festivals, special events, weddings, meetings, and more! The amphitheatre features a 2,400 square foot covered performance area with seating for up to 1,200, all overlooking the scenic Cedar River and downtown Waterloo skyline. The facility includes an Arts Mall – a 10,000 square foot elevated plaza area and Mark’s Park – a fun, interactive splash park and playground for children of all ages. The amphitheatre is located conveniently off the Riverwalk Loop trail system. This stunning facility was designed with aesthetics and multi-use capabilities in mind and has quickly become the focal point of downtown activity. Mark’s Park is open to the public Monday-Sunday 9am-9pm.
Black Hawk Children's Theatre

This award-winning children’s theater presents four productions each year. Productions consist of popular books brought to life on stage, including fairytales and stories of racial harmony and diversity. Performances take place at the Waterloo Center for the Arts.
